Safyan Afzal, Licensed Pharmacist in U.K. and USA, with more than 5 years’ experience in Hospital Pharmacy in both countries, is committed to focusing his practice around patient care. Having worked in the NHS Hospitals in England and private big corporate hospitals in the United Sates, Safyan understands the importance of evidence-based pharmaceutical care to any healthcare system.

Safyan started his career as a pharmacist in 2011 after Graduating one of the best Pharmacy Schools in England, Aston University. He received his Master of Pharmacy with a focused in evidence-based medicine. Safyan also completed Post Graduate diploma in Clinical Pharmacy from Queen’s University Belfast in 2016, with additional focus on statistical methods and designs used in clinical trials and their application to pharmaceutical care.

Currently living and working in Michigan, USA, when not working with patients, he enjoys spending time with friends and family, being outdoors, and exploring everything the great lakes state has to offer.
